General Admission Ticketing Information The following ticket prices apply for non-members. Children 11 years and under are free (must be accompanied by an adult). Tickets are available for pre-purchase from the Canberra Racing Club, Administration Office, Thoroughbred Park, Randwick Road, Lyneham ACT. A pre-purchased ticket before the race day entitles the buyer a free admission ticket to the Kennards Hire Canberra Cup, 30 November 2008.

Strict ID checks will be in place at time of ticket purchase and on the day. Wristbands will be required as proof of id check. Members Admission Prices Members only are permitted to purchase up to 2 (two) additional Members' Enclosure tickets. (All prices include GST). Any member who joins within 2 months of any major race meeting is not entitled to purchase additional Members’ Enclosure tickets. Please note price below does not include general admission. Gates Open - 9:30am, local racing from approximately 1pm Public Transport ACTION Buses will operate throughout the course of the day, stopping directly out the front of the racecourse on Randwick Road. ACTION route 56 will operate from Belconnen and Civic along its usual route, with a detour down Randwick Road for racegoers. Free shuttle services to Dickson and Civic will operate after the races. Please note that NO alcohol can be brought through the gates and Thoroughbred Park reserves the right to conduct bag searches. Patrons can bring a picnic lunch with them to eat on the lawns or one of the many open areas. MYER Fashions On the Field Competition Please note that the Fashions on the Field competition now has strict guidelines for each catagory entry. Catagories are Classic Ladies Racewear, Classic Mens Racewear, Classic Couples Racewear and Miss Racegoer. Please click here for guidelines. Miss Racegoer will be phased out of the competition by 2009.
Kids Racewear will be the major competition in 2009 on Black Opal Preview Day - 22 February 2009.

Option 5 Home Straight Picnic Enclosure The Home Straight Picnic Enclosure is located on the outside of the track at the 300 metre mark below the Corporate Marquees. Our lovely new outdoor enclosure offers those racegoers seeking a gathering and party place while still being close to the action. Use it as your base while still having the freedom to mingle around the racecourse. View the races from your picnic table in the reserved area and the super screen trackside. The enclosure will have your guests swept up in the excitement. Bring your own picnic and enjoy the day with your own personal table. 4 guests per table. $240 per table
